Dr. Brian Kashin MD, FRCPC

Dr. Kashin is an Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. His research focus in 2020 has been on assessing and studying the transmission of aerosolized droplets in the operating theater. Dr. Kashin has been working with Canadian manufacturers to design and develop Personal Protective Equipment such as the Covid Aerosol Box for use over patients' airways in the operating room.

 

Brian's research interests includes analgesic regimens for the knee, abdominal walls, and shoulder surgeries. He also has clinical interests in perioperative ultrasound use as well as ultrasound-guided anesthesia and analgesia in addition to the treatment and management of acute and chronic pain.
